Helping Homeless Veterans

Much work is being done throughout the country to address the issue of veteran homelessness. The unfortunate reality is that on an annual basis about 10% of the individuals needing shelter at New Horizons are veterans, or approximately 90 – 95 per year. They meet with our Case Managers to address issues that led to their homelessness and are given assistance accessing and Veteran's benefits for which they are eligible.
