Clients at Angie's, allied with the Case Management and support staff, are expected to make the necessary individual effort to return to permanent housing and independent living. Our staff will assist every woman in whatever attempt they need toward searching for permanent full-time employment; searching for housing; saving money; using time productively; and taking advantage of supportive services or benefits identified by case managers.
Up to 16 women can stay at Angie's and individuals are welcome as long as they are without housing and actively pursue their goal plans. Residents share the living room and kitchen where they prepare their own meals. Classes and presentations are ongoing at Angie's on topics such as health issues, nutrition, meditation and stress relief, maintaining sobriety, financial basics, employment and self-esteem, and continued success after shelter living. Angie's is not a domestic violence shelter.
