Empty Bowls Soup Fundraiser Oct. 18
The 13th Annual Empty Bowls fundraiser is Sunday, October 18th, 2015 at the Brookside Congregational Church, 2013 Elm Street in Manchester from 11:30 am -1:30 pm. Sponsored by the NH Potters Guild, the event raises money for New Horizons for New Hampshire. Empty Bowls is an international project to fight hunger. NH Potters Guild members make and donate ceramic soup bowls. For $20 guests choose and keep a handmade bowl and are able to sample soups donated by 16 local restaurants. Child bowl $5. Quart to go $10 (last 1/2 hour of event).
Last year's participating restaurants included: Airport Diner, Angela's Pasta & Cheese Shop, Bertucci’s, Cactus Jacks, Cotton, Fratello’s, Ignite Bar and Grill, Jerome’s Deli, Manchester School of Technology, Milly's Tavern, The Ninety-Nine, Outback Steakhouse, Piccola Italia Ristorante, Puritan Back Room, Red Arrow Diner, Southern NH University Culinary Arts, Suddenly Soupy's and Tinker’s Seafood.
